THE COUNTDOWN IS ON!

'Alexa, play The Final Countdown by Journey.'

Is it me or does this year need to slow its roll a bit. I swear we were just coming into the New Year and now, it is mid-March!?

I just finished with mid-terms and now it is time to kick it in gear. I didn't realize it had been a month since I last posted - time really needs to slow down.

I literally graduate in 7 weeks, and I have so much to do - pick out my outfit for graduation, decorate my cap, and get ready for my next BIG MOVE, literally!

I plan on moving out of Tennessee and I am very excited!

Noah and I have lived in Tennessee on and off again, but I am honestly over Tennessee. The dream is to end up on the west coast in the future but for now we are taking it step-by-step by moving one state away, can you guess where? A little more up north but to get us on our feet with starting our new chapter without going in the hole is our plan for now. House shopping is fun and exciting, but I can already feel the pressure - one step at a time!

It is coming so quickly, and I think my head is about to explode.

Although it has been a bit overwhelming and stressful, I was invited to join the Beta Sigma Gamma at my University which is the Top 10% of Business Students - I accepted and can't wait to be inducted in April. I received my cap and gown, as well as my Summa Cum Laude medallion (the highest honors). It may not mean a lot to some, but I believe hard work pays off in the long run. With having significant brain damage and being a survivor of seven brain surgeries to-date, I want to show that it is possible to accomplish the things people said you couldn't.

When I received my cap and gown in the mail, Noah was so happy for me which made me instantly cry because he is the one who has kept me motivated. The past two years went by so fast, and I cannot believe the time is approaching - and I think I am more nervous that I will fall on my face walking across the stage....

Stilettos will be a stilett-NO for graduation.

One thing I can definitely say is that I am excited for this time to FINALLY come but I am honestly overwhelmed with the things I must get done in these last seven weeks. All I know is coffee is getting me through these stressful weeks and I think the boys knows that if momma does not have her coffee, it is going to be a day! But the good thing is, my spring break is this week - even though I still have to work but fingers crossed I get some of my 'graduation to-do list' completed without having to worry about essays, projects and exams for a week...

Maybe I can squeeze in a hike or two. We shall see!

"Godspeed and GO BUCS!"

With love,

CT
